This year’s agriculture budget is geared towards inclusivity, ensuring that small farmers, women, and youth thrive in the sector.
💰 Key Budget Allocations:
- $337,000 for the Women in Agriculture Programme
- $281,000 for the Youth in Agriculture Programme
- $4.4 million to upgrade training centres at Navuso Agriculture Technical Institute and Tutu Training Centre
👩🌾 Support Provided:
- Assistance to 597 individual women and 51 women’s groups
- Resources include planting materials, nursery supplies, training, agro-inputs, farming tools, and market access support
