Hon. Manoa Kamikamica was officially sworn in today as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Industries, Commerce, Business Development and Public Enterprises before the President of the Republic of Fiji, His Excellency Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu, at State House. The ceremony marked his return to ministerial office, with Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka and members of his family present to witness the occasion.

During the ceremony, Kamikamica took the Oath of Allegiance and the Oath of Due Execution of Office, reaffirming his commitment to serve the nation. A Chartered Accountant by profession, he brings more than 33 years of senior executive experience across diverse sectors including finance, aviation, banking, and manufacturing.
His professional career includes serving as Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of the Lyndhurst Group of Companies, as well as holding senior positions with ANZ in Tonga, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea. He also spent over 13 years with Fiji Airways, where he served as General Manager Finance and later as General Manager Strategic Planning.
Kamikamica’s reappointment reflects confidence in his leadership and expertise, positioning him to contribute significantly to the Government’s priorities in industries, commerce, business development, and public enterprises. His extensive background and proven track record are expected to strengthen the Coalition Government’s efforts in driving economic growth, investment, and opportunities for all Fijians.
