The People’s Alliance party president Ratu Josefa Dimuri has suggested for an audit of the party manifesto.

He said this was imperative as it would give them a clearer picture of what has been achieved so far, as outlined in the manifesto.

“We really need to look into and audit our manifesto on things we have done and what we need to attend to,” he said.

“People criticising us for not doing as much as we are expected to do especially Government, but we have so much confidence in our party leader Sitiveni Rabuka that we will achieve what we set up to do.

“People can now criticise the Government and we cannot shut them down, we have to hear them out and digest what they say as we can’t stop them from criticising.”

Mr Dimuri said the leading Government party would hear Fijians out.

“And we will try and address the concerns. As citizens of the country they have every right to criticise the Government.”

“For 16 years, that freedom was not there and we thank the Government for giving people that freedom, people are so free now and we managed to change all that.”
