Families at Kubulau Government Station in Bua now have access to clean, reliable water following the commissioning of the Kubulau Borehole Project by Minister Hon. Sakiasi R Ditoka.

The $24,000 project, funded through the Ministry’s Self-Help Programme, benefits about 150 people from over 20 households in Kubulau and nearby communities.

Previously, residents faced inconsistent water supply, affecting hygiene and farming. The new borehole provides a safe, steady water source, improving sanitation, health, and living conditions. Minister Ditoka highlighted the project as part of the government’s efforts to enhance essential services in rural areas, emphasizing its positive impact on community safety, farming, and resilience.
